The greatest ignorance is to reject substantive matter out of hand, yet insurance policyholders do it as preset course, unaware of their vulnerability till often too late.
With such compelling information the question is when will you preempt the course setting...join the base?

If you did not carry collision insurance on your vehicles, your option is the liability claim for damages that you are apparently involved in. Regarding the issue of damages: it is important to document and support value claimed, e.g., dealer estimates, blue book, market value, etc. The main question in liability claims is: "Where is the negligence?" If you are unable to successfully negotiate the liability claim, your option is legal action. However, persuadability of negligence and damages remains the crux of the matter.
