You have two claims (separate deductibles) and the adjusters for both should know about each other so that they can apportion the damage to each claim. You may want to look at other posts on this forum relating to determining total loss of a vehicle. If you have a problem reaching an agreement as to the amount of loss, the following references may be of some help: If there have been two losses unadjusted, any appraisal must encompass both: Mechanics' Insurance Co. v. Hodge, 149 Ill 298, 37 N.E. 51; Settlement for an undisputed portion of a claim does not stop a lawsuit as to other property where the loss is disputed: Lloyds v. Burtner, 1968 F. & C. 1159, 1968.
