: how do insurance companies handle an auto claim on a policy holder who was killed in the traffic accident? i'm sure this happens more often than we would like to know. Basic info: My bother was single, no children, no will, only real property was his 97 chevy P/U totaled and valued at $15,000. How can i collect the claim to pay for his funeral?
My son was killed in a car accident last May...supposedly he was driving a stolen vehicle however he did not take the car .... it was given to him with the keys...this was a tragic situation..the insurance company involved would not pay a claim....how is this handled under the Michigan No fault law?
