: I was hit by another car & he admitted fault. The claim has been filed under his insurance. My car has a retail value of $8,400. The insurance has made an offer of $6, 083 and I owe $7,500. I have not accepted the payment. I'm wondering if according to some of your info if I can ask for the insurance company to replace my car with a comparable auto. Because I have priced them and even with 120,00 miles on my 95 Oldsmobile Aurora $6, 083 won't buy me another of the same thing.
Any information is appreciated.
Martha
P.S.
Do you have a link to any of the Kentucky regulations that govern this?
