: I will be a layed off airline employee effective in the next few months. I have been treated for cancer but am now in remission. I will receive severance pay for at least 3 to 4 months with medical and life insurance benefits. After my severance runs out, I will receive an additional 90 days of medical and life insurance benefits. I am currently looking for other employment. If I take new employment during the time I'm receiving severance, can I still receive credit for having medical insurance during that time for the new employer? I hope this is a clear question.
