not a reguar reader of this group, but three years ago when my house was totally destroyed by fire I did post my situationhere when State Farm shorted us by a substantial amount. Several of you (including a writer from Consumers Union) askedme to post the final outcome. Well, after three years of fighting them with them (both their attorneys and mine competely redoing my original dispute) we finally got resolution w/o going to trial. Case did receive judicial review a couple of times &
trial was scheduled. At the last moment State Farm finally decided to accept our offer for a fair settlement that we made three years ago.
