Tony is right, the company didn't have to give you any notice if they are jsut
made up of under 20 employees (6 is not even close).
I am suprised you got your notification in the first place,
unless you got it from somewhere else and asked your
employer to sign it.
If you are healthy, go here for quotes from an independent health agent
: IS IT LEGAL FOR AN X-EMPLOYER TO REFUSE TO SIGN THE COBRA ELECTION FORM OF A DEPARTING EMPLOYEE?
: MY SISTER'S X-EMPLOYER REFUSED TO SIGN HER ELECTION FORM, STATING THAT BECAUSE THEIR COMPANY ONLY INSURES 6 EMPLOYEES, THIS CAUSES HER TO BE ENELIGIBLE FOR COBRA COVERAGE.
: PLEASE REPLY.
