Auto Transmission Depreciated Repair From Flood

: : I recently sustained $1881.00 of damage to my car's transmission during a heavy rain. The car ( A-94 Grand Prix) had 75,000 miles on it at the time. The adjuster is saying that I am responsible for the adjusted value of the transmission or 50% of the repairs plus my $200.00 deductable . After negotiations, they have agreed to pay 70%. 30% plus $200.00 is still a lot of money for me to pay. What recourse do I have? I have been with this company for over 20 years. Can small claims court help? Is it worth the fight in small claims court? : Thanks, : S.D.Stanley
