Allstate penalty

The policyholder was entitled to 12 percent interest penalty on the difference between $141,000 dwelling loss paid and the $175,000 rightfully owed. The policyholder was also allowed additional award for the insurance company's arbitrary and capricious failure to pay the claim in full, plus attorney's fees:
