| In co-dependence denial the greatest ignorance is to reject substantive matter out of hand. Insurance policyholders are unaware of their vulnerability till often too late.
The question is when will they have a hand in setting their course? The answer is when they are good and ready. |
The homeowners' insurance company could not rely on the "automobile" exclusion to
deny coverage for a fire occurring while the policyholder was working on restoration
of a collectible car. The car was not for transportation on public roads and considered
to be in "dead storage" even though it was fully operational and the policyholder
occasionally drove it from one part of the insured premises to another in order to do
the restoration work:
