Now we come to these changes that are coming about now. I first found out about some of these changes in 1994. I saw them in a law library and I was researching something and I happened to wonder onto them. I kept seeing differences in terminology and at first I thought it was just a few little words different, but then as time went on I started realizing that many words were changing, and some of the more important words..the word claim. The word "claim" has just about been obliterated now from all of our policies, all of the property policies at this point in time, as far as I can tell. I tried very hard to find out what states have adopted this new wording, but I have yet to find an authority who can actually give me that specific answer. I know that most states have adopted the newer wording.
